Dynamic Positioning

Performance characteristics:

Each vessel is exposed to forces of wind, waves, sea currents and currents generated by her own propulsion system. Using many position reference systems, dynamic positioning systems control the steering of the vessel, keeping her position and bearing constant.

We support performance of dynamic positioning systems by:
  • DP systems repairs, modifications and installations,
  • re-arrangement and expansion of DP systems to achieve the DP1, DP 2 or DP3 classes,
  • preparation of complete FMEA documentation according to the requirements of the Classification Societies,
  • supervision over projects and installation of DP systems,
  • reduction of the system start-up cost and time,
  • reduction of servicing costs and improvement of spare parts availability,

Our core tasks according DP systems are complex vessel documentation services:
  • Preparing DP annual and renewal documents
  • Preparing DP FMEA report
  • Preparing vessel systems diagrams required for class approval
  • Fuel Oil diagram
  • Lube oil diagram
  • Main switchboard diagram
  • Cooling system (fresh water, sea water) diagram
  • Other
